Spring always takes quite some time to get into full swing in Toronto.....although by Canadian standards, we have a balmy climate, it still generally means 3 months of the year with temperatures that don't rise much above zero, and a similar amount of time with snow on the ground. Little wonder that my first daffodils aren't in bloom until the 2nd week in May! Tulips are shaping up to be blooming by the weekend if this sunny weather holds on.
